I think FB and G+ roles are doing good in this sector. Other than that some B2B portals are doing some advertising. It reach some thing vast to B2B sectors. Some of the B2B portals are reaching the level high with the business customers are alibaba, pepagora and some other domestic portals.
Internet advertising and social media participation (example FB and G+) are simply activities or methods that contribute to the overall business activity that is called Internet Marketing.
In its most basic form 'marketing' can be described as matching people with products.
Internet marketing is simply using the internet to match people with products and on the internet there are a number of activities or methods to do so:
1. posting articles to a blog or website for search engines response
2. creating videos to post on a blog and video on sharing websites
3. creating podcasts for podcast sharing sites and including ads in the podcast promoting your products
4 paid ads on the internet
5. social media participation
6. forum participation
7. list building and email marketing
So while the marketing machine is the internet there are a number of different methods to do internet marketing.
I would say that Facebook is really getting a huge pie of the action in internet marketing. It has the ability to narrow down to very targeted audience, which is something that is unique to Facebook. And with the growth of the online population day by day, it will soon become one of the major driving force in internet marketing (or already has become one)
