w3schools.com is an excellent source for learning basic concepts in CSS in addition to this Video tutorials available on YouTube is another source who wants to learn CSS by practical approach.

For those who like videos (I don't) check out lynda.com where for $25 you can take as many courses as you want in one month. They have a wide variety of offerings besides learning WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
