I am seeing this in Google analytics. What does it mean?

paypal.com is performing better than other Referral traffic

18.89% of your site traffic is from the Referral channel. Within Referral, paypal.com is 8.24% of sessions, and performs better on some key metrics.

If you're using Google Analytics and accept PayPal on your site it can cause some confusion in the tracking. This is due to the fact that when someone pays on a Website using PayPal it opens up a new window for them to be able to input their PayPal information to make the payment; and then it immediately redirects them back to the site once the payment has been made. So Google Analytics credits the PayPal gateway window as the referral site instead of the original traffic source.
