Interesting news!!!! Yes, SolusVM development was almost dead under the hood of OnApp. So this is a good news for the existing customers as Plesk team is quite aggressive in terms of development and adding new features to their product. But I am wondering what they will do with their Virtuozzo panel as it may be considered as a competition to SolusVM....so 2 solutions under same parent company....

Virtuzzo is now a standalone company since 2015. They are not owned by Plesk anymore.

Ahh..I thought both of them are still owned by Parallels! Thanks for clarifying it....been not following them for a while already :) But I see also this in their announcement?

"Going forward, Parallels cross-platform solutions business unit will continue to operate as a standalone company under the Parallels brand (www.parallels.com). The Plesk business unit, providing web management solutions to more than 10 million small businesses and hosters worldwide, will operate as a standalone company under the Plesk brand (www.plesk.com). The Virtuozzo business unit, which develops the market leading container virtualization technology will operate as a standalone company under the Virtuozzo brand (www.virtuozzo.com). All three business units will continue to be owned and controlled by Parallels Holdings Limited. "
