Do you believe in severs are being offered in Hetzner auction are good enough to use for websites. How do they compare with online.net because online.net is also offering dedicated server with good prices.

From stories I have read, the Hard drives are passed their expiry date and really old - So be cautious, lots of stories on failure very fast.

I have some servers from Hetzner auction and no issues with them. But I use them only for storage, so I cannot tell you if servers with SSD are good for web hosting.
The main difference between online.net and hetzner auctions are the setup fees, pretty high with online.net.
