Do they provide Multiple Add-on Domains?

Somehow many of us own more than one domain, sometimes more than 2 or 3 domains. Why? I think because it has advantage for them and convenient? What's your thoughts?

Many people used to register the domains for the future use because there are chances that other people will register it and it will no longer available for the registration.

This is only advantage of it. You can use the domains as addon domain or can create the separate site on it or you can add redirection to the domains. It's to you, how to use those domains.
