Hi everyone, I'm wanting to buy a hosting plan from a provider in EU but they are offering me to pay 30 Euro/mo.
Can anyone tell me 1 Euro equals how many US Dollars? Can I pay them with US dollars instead?

Approximate exchange rate

You should ask them, its really up to the provider to accept such a payment. But I see no reason why not.

Just Google "euro to dollar" and you will see this

Also it also depends on your location and where or what you are using to pay your provider.

For example, if you are using Paypal then it will display different rates on each country.
I knew this when I paid for a freelancer who did some works for my websites.

If you are going to pay using paypal, automatically you'll get in dollars how much will cost you.
Paypal will display this information when you are about to pay.

Hi DaRecordon,

Choosing a VPS provider from the rest to make a deal with is totally up to you(what service do you want to use for?).
Buying anything online actually depends on the "currency conversion rate" & "payment processor" you are using.
Are you paying via:
*An eCurrency processor( such as PayPal,Payza,Skrill,Bitcoin, etc). Also, remember the payment you are making will include processor fees and this varies from one eCurrency processor to another.
*Credit/debit card or wire transfer which depends on the country you making payment from and the difference in currencies. One more thing is that even banks in your country have their equivalent to Euro or other currencies. For example, I have four bank accounts in 4different banks and anytime I'm buying things online, the equivalent amount to a dollar is always different from each other even while they are operating in the same country.
So you got to take all these into consideration before making an online payment.

Conversion of currencies changes every second. So for you to stay up to date with conversion rate you need to find a legit and secure "currency conversion site" in your country. A simple Google search of "Euro to a dollar" will bring the list of these websites.
