Directadmin vs Plesk - which one is more secure?

I am recommended to Directadmin to use it on a VPS but I heard more good feedback on this forum for Plesk. I want to have a secure VPS and control panel, between Directadmin and Plesk, which is more secure and why? any you guys show me any reasons why one of 2 is better?

Direct admin just seems much more stable but i'ts missing many features like cpanel or plesk have. The decision is up to you based what's more important for you.

Never been a fan of Plesk. Dislike what they did to ModernBill back in the day.
I'd suggest using DirectAdmin.

Also, the server is only going to be as stable as you make it. Both Plesk and Directadmin are control panels, not a security suite. I wouldn't rely on just the panels for security.

You should see what features are you going to use, if you will benefit from one or the other panel. From security point I would totally agree with Localnode Control panel will be as safe as you make it.

DirectAdmin is known for providing very stable release packages and has avoided pushing anything to Stable Branch that is not tested thoroughly for security and functionality. Other panels are adding so many new features as quickly as possible and sometimes, this causes software to break or be insecure.

DirectAdmin is not the fanciest, but they do seem to be most trustworthy in this regard.

According to my choice Directadmin is much better than Plesk. My experience is not good with Plesk. Also its little bit slow.
I always recommend to use cpanel but, DirectAdmin is also ways better then Plesk.

DirectAdmin has more features like the Email menu, FTP menu, DNS menu, MySQL databases and etc. It is completely customizable and they have better documentation on how to install many things with exact steps via the DirectAdmin custom build and DirectAdmin scripts.DirectAdmin is cheaper and if you order a license through your hosting provider, it may be cheaper than the prices you can buy directly from them.Also, there might be fully managed support and the support will take care of the control panel itself.

I would recommend directadmin, it is a great web hosting control panel to use for your websites. If you don't have good budget then go with directadmin or plesk, its more cheaper than cpanel. Most web hosting control panels come with essential server management features. Beyond this, you need to pay attention to your unique needs and whether the chosen control panel will support them.

I always go for directadmin if i have 2 options like Directadmin or Plesk. Direct admin is fast in comparison to Plesk.
Also its provide more security than Plesk.

In the perspective of ease of use, both Directadmin and Plesk panel does well. Choosing the one among the two is completely dependent on the features you rely on.

@Philippe Gaucher I would recommend you to go for the DirectAdmin as it is similar to the Cpanel however Plesk is complicated to use and they have less options regarding the security.
