Do you have a blog or website that hosting on a share hosting? If you have, would you share how many daily visitors can your shared hosting handle?

A typical WordPress site that is quite lightweight and doesn't use a huge amount of plugins should have a very low impact on server resource usage with a shared plan and should be able to be serve 1000+ visits a day easily and more if the host uses a good caching system like Varnish. What performance a site can achieve is mostly dependent on the resource limits set on each hosting account by the host.

Really depends on the server and how many other accounts are shared on the server too. If the server is not overloaded with accounts then 1000 visitors per day is reasonable as LJSHost stated.

This will vary with the specifications of the server itself and how many accounts are on that server, and the combined resources that they are using. There is no set number.

Website optimization plays a big role when it comes to the amount of simultanious visitors it can serve without noticable problems. Other important factors such as the web server used, if your provider uses Litespeed you will be able to handle more daily visitors, the amount of resources (ram,I/O and CPU) allocated to your shared account and how oversold is the nodes your website is hosted on.

A few years ago, I had a WordPress blog hosted on Godaddy's cheapest shared hosting that easily got 5000 uniques per day and never had any trouble.
