Best way to host and manage 50 small sites?

Hey all,
I am a member of this forum and looking for some help
what would be the best way to create and host 50 small sites? I want to create a small network sites to earn money and creating links between sites.
can this be done with the a shared hosting package?
I see some have the option for unlimited domains but I am not sure this is the very best way to do so, your inputs are more then welcome
also is there a convenient way to manage 50 sites?
overview of traffic stats, revenue, manage 50 different email domains etc?
I don't have experience on this aspect.

It can be done with a shared hosting account but would be much easier with a reseller account. I would say though, if you are wanting to manage 50 different email domains etc. that may be easier using 1 shared hosting account with addon domains.

I would prefer a reseller account personally. You may look into creating a wordpress multisite, this may be of benefit to what you are trying to accomplish too.

Also forgot to ask do you have a budget for what you are trying to do here?

I think a reseller account or VPS would be best for what you want to do. It can be done with a shared account and addon domains but not recommend for security reasons.

A Reseller account would be better than using a Web hosting account security wise as LJSHost mentioned. A VPS would be great but only if you need more resources than what you get included with a Reseller account. Some providers offering Reseller hosting offer more server resources than others and for better pricing too and so that is definitely something to look out for.

If you have any experience with managing a VPS that would most likely be the best option for 50 websites, install a stable and secure control panel like VestaCP so you can manage the websites from there.

The best option for something like that would probably be a Reseller account. This way, you can add all your domains at once through WHM and your cPanel would cover things like stats, visitors, etc. If you're interested in a deal, let me know.. Specifically what you will want to look into is a shared web hosting account with cPanel/WHM. Although ideally you can host 50 sites on a shared web hosting account using the add-on domain name feature, it can get very messy (therefore not recommended).
