Upload and change themes in cPanel?

I have modified some of the features on the web panel and I need some step by step instructions on how to upload to the right directory to make it show in my web host manager. I'm not an administrator, but I'm a bit familiar with web file manager. Some articles I read was not very clear on how to do this.
