Which countries do you want your websites to be hosted in Europe?

For case study purpose I am asking you guys here in which country do you want your websites to be hosted in Europe for better price and specifications?
and why? I saw hosting offers in UK, NL, SE, Germany or Switzerland but I don't know where I should host my sites is the best.

Hi Moebunto,

The server hosting your sites should be in your country or general region that you are targeting for your customers or readers as it has SEO and latency advantages.
Their is not much difference between UK, Germany, France etc as they are more or less next door to each other.

For price and specs region makes little difference, most providers offer more or less the same products for around the same money.

According to server response time, I would suggest you Germany or The Netherlands. There is not much difference between prices, also much depends where clients come from.

Local seo is the trend in 2016 so if you want to have a good ranking on google you better look for a server close to your target area.

I agree with VirtuBox's reply above and it's my answer for local SEO, but I think it still is better if we use specific country to host sites for better SEO.

Maybe my sites have not get enough traffic to spend 5TB a month. I would know more about hosting features and the loading speed.

Do you have any hosting companies' names would suggest me for hosting sites at Germany or The Netherlands? I used hosting at these countries but they didn't loaded as my expectation.

I know a little about SEO but I also know CDN can change my IP address hence if I am not wrong it is not more different between EU and US location.

I hosted my sites in Germany and Netherlands but its loading speed is not really good if I don't use CDN.

You should consider the location that has the lowest ping to your readers, usually in the country you reside. The Google prioritizes websites that open fast, but a good solution is to use a CDN as cloudflare.

I would prefer Amsterdam, Netherlands. I have conducted speed test for variety of web hosting from location across your europe and the most exceptional sites were hosted in Netherlands.
