How to use Google analytics for my free wordpress blog?

Hello all,
Currently, I am using free WP blog for creating back links for my website. I want to analysis visits on that blog so I need Google analytics for that. I have tracking code for that, but Where should I put that code?
Any recommendation will be a great help. Thanks in Advance!

I'm sure you will have a file called as footer.php in your folder theme

Adding Google analytics tracking code into it, It's the place should do.

Actually Google Analytics wants you to insert a piece of tracking code to each of your pages. But after that the Wordpress-free doesn't allows you to edit the HTML. So you can shift it to have a free Posterous account or a WordPress hosted account.

I installed an All-on-One SEO pack, which allows me to input the GA tracking code and it works.

It is simple just go to plugin section, click on add plugin, search for analytics plugin and choose any one of them and install after reading rating of plugin.

You can keep the code in header.php folder in wordpress or If you want pulgin you can Download yoastSEO pulgin
