Managed VPS preferred with Cpanel but will take quality shared host section.

Specifically hostst that are offering a free trial...7, 14, or 30 days.

Hello Sousuke,

There are a lot of quality hosting providers that can provide you with a Managed VPS and cPanel. We have several good hosts here on Webmaster Sun!

Sadly, VPS's get abused by spammer all too often. People will purchase a VPS for one month, send out a bunch of spam, get the IP's blacklisted, and move on to another provider the next month.

For this reason, I don't know of many hosts that will offer a free trial on a VPS. You can always check our offers section to get some good deals, but I doubt you will find a quality, free VPS for 30 days. Especially not a managed VPS with cPanel

I didn't think to this and your advice is quite exact :)

If the OP want to have a VPS to try, you should find a cheap VPS start from $5 to $10 to test but I am sure no more quality VPS will offer you with only $5 for a starting package.

Just my 0.02 cents!

I suggest A2 Hosting as its performance is very good with fast speed (SSD), and ability to handle a lot of online users. They are now offering 51% OFF for the first build, and you only need to pay about $60 for a year.

If you want to get more discount with A2 Hosting, pm me :)

There are a lot of viable options out there, but it's hard to recommend anything without a budget. Trials are also often not offered (not by any serious provider I know of) due to their proneness to abuse. This is why research of a potential provider beforehand (like you're doing now) is good. Once you feel safe in your decision, you don't need a trial. Besides, most providers back this by a money back guarantee instead, which is "sort of" like a trial, except it voids if you break their Terms of Service.

We'd also need to know much more about your requirements in term of specifications for either a VPS or a Shared Hosting plan.

Oh nothing malicious here. It's for my site because our current host is a bit ridiculous, having some issues/complaints and I was not expecting to have to buy hosting in the middle of my month with them to get off their servers so i was just looking for something cheap/rather reliable.

I've found a few hosts that are not free such as Hostnine, Site5, Onrahost, and a few others who are offering $1 for the first month and Hostmantis which offers 60 percent off but i was hoping people here had some great suggestions as well as i would like to sign up today and hopefully it is a good company and i can just stay with them from then on out :)

Unfortunately you're not going to find any quality VPS for that price range @rwsworsen; however, depending on the quality of your website, maybe a premium webhost may be the best fit solution for you.

You are right, I will not go with cheap web hosting unless I don't want to have problems with my websites later.

Choosing a good web hosting is not a easy task and it depends on requirements for your websites.

That is the most important thing, an what so many people forget.
You cannot pick quality hosting, based on your budget alone. Just because you only have $5 to spend, Does not mean you will find hosting to fit your needs for $5/mo!

There is also no such thing as the perfect hosting or the perfect host. You have to find the perfect one for your needs!

All too often, we hear people say "VPS is better", "shared hosting is better", "dedicated servers are better", etc. But one is NOT better then the other, their simply better for certain needs. First, you have to determine what your hosting needs are, or talk with a honest host that will help you determine what your needs really are!

You would get lots of excellent VPS hosting providers offering you Managed VPS and cPanel. However, FREE trial would be a problem because during trial period some VPS users with malicious intentions abuse the VPS resources and ends up with blacklisted IP address. You should pay for the VPS services and try it for a week or month based on the web hosting provider, If you are not satisfied with the services, you can cancel it within refund period.

geekstorage.com Built by geeks for geeks. I've been using them for a few years now and absolutely love them.

Top-notch performance and support, and not much more expensive than the cheap sites like Bluehost, for instance. I think their cheapest UNmanaged VPS plan is like $8 per month.

Google for a coupon code first, though, because you can get 50% off as a new customer. I purchased five years right off the top since I got it so cheap.

Hostgator, Dreamhost, Godaddy etc. are some excellent web hosting providers across the world. These web hosting companies provide multiple web hosting cheap plans according to user requirement.

You need to do your own research. Check out different VPS offers, their prices and plans, check out the reviews too. Sometimes the reviews are paid, but I think everyone is able to tell. Once you narrow down your list, contact each of the providers from it and make sure their support is reliable, prompt, helpful, knowleadgable, professional and available 24/7. This is the most important thing.

If you are looking for the best support for hosting, I have been thoroughly pleased with Liquid Web. They have been outstanding when it comes to their heroic support. They are for real and have used them for about 3 months now. You definitely need to check them out. Now they are a little pricey, but the support alone is so worth it...you won't be sorry. Best there is out there and I have been with a few of them and none come close to LW.

Since there are many top notch web hosting service providers available, it becomes really hard to find a reliable one that provides you best web hosting services. I suggest you one good way to shortlist your search by reading reviews on web hosting services from review site.

If you have an problem finding review site, then I can help you out by suggesting one site that I was going through to check the reviews for web hosting services. You can click on this link, to visit the site and checkout the reviews posted for different services.
