This is what I have found successful in my testing...
I take them to a squeeze page which offers them a free method of, for example, How to get a Higher squeeze page conversion rate.
They opt-in and get taken to the page with the free method. They read the free tip on the page and are happy with what I have taught them.
On this side of the page, I talk about an eBook
filled with Squeeze page tips and why they
need it. I include a clickable link which takes them to the sales page for the eBook I created (Roughly 15 pages long).
What I'm trying to say is that I
don't give the full eBook away for free. Why would you do this anyway? Then people who join your list, will be programmed to receiving free gifts all of the time.
This is what you don't want!
Quick Recap: Offer them a free tip from the eBook you have created (Or whatever the product is) which will get them excited about the full product. This will result in more sales for yourself
