I’m trying to improve the SEO health of a website I manage. I am the owner of Web Media Infotech Lt. and I had Despite having good design, responsive layout, and content, the site’s organic traffic is low and tools like SEMrush report a poor health score.

Hey, I know how frustrating it can be when you’ve put a lot of work into your site, it looks great, works well on all devices, and the content is solid but the traffic just doesn’t come. One thing I'd suggest is to dig into the technical side a bit more. Sometimes things like slow loading times, duplicate content, or missing meta tags quietly hurt performance. Also, check if the keywords you're using match what people are actually searching for. Tools like Google Search Console can give you clues there. And don’t forget about backlinks, if nobody’s linking to you, Google might not take you seriously yet. You might also want to check your internal linking and make sure your most important pages are easy to find. SEO takes time, but small improvements can stack up quickly.

Thanks a lot for your insights! I’ve actually been checking the site with SEMrush and noticed similar issues — missing meta tags, slow load times, and some duplicate content. I didn’t realize how much those technical aspects could impact rankings.
I’m also working on improving the internal linking and focusing on more relevant, lower-competition keywords. Backlinks have definitely been a challenge, so I’m trying to build a few good ones slowly. It’s definitely a learning process, but your advice helped me see some areas I hadn’t focused on enough. Appreciate it!

Sounds like you’re really digging into the right areas, SEMrush is great for uncovering those hidden technical issues, and it’s awesome that you’re taking action on things like internal linking and keyword strategy. Backlinks can definitely be tough (slow and steady wins there), but just being aware and consistently improving will pay off. You’re clearly putting in the work, and that momentum will build over time. Keep going and you’re on the right path!

Hey! I totally get it how frustrating that can be, design and content might look great, but if there are hidden technical issues or onpage SEO gaps, traffic won’t show up. Maybe doublecheck for broken links, slow load times, or missing meta tags? Tools like SEMrush can help spot those. Hope it turns around soon!

Alright, let’s cut to the chase — you’ve got a nice site, but SEO isn’t just about looks or content. Tools like SEMrush flag real issues that might not be obvious.

First, make sure Google can actually see your site. No accidental blocks in robots.txt or noindex tags hiding your pages. Happens more than you’d think.

Core Web Vitals matter now — if your site feels sluggish or janky, bots notice. Use PageSpeed Insights and fix the worst offenders. Not just for SEO, but for real users too.

Check your internal links. If everything’s floating around with no clear path, search engines get confused. Link smartly between related pages so bots (and people) understand what your site is about.

Backlinks? Could be dragging you down. SEMrush probably caught some sketchy ones pointing at you. If they look bad, disavow them through Google.

And yeah, use schema markup. Helps search engines understand your content better and might even give you those fancy rich snippets.

As others already stated, .json schema markup is must have, there are sites that will do it for you and you just copy paste code. Google's core web vitals also value less technical stuff like alt tags for images and image width and height values hardcoded in html.

PS. sketchy backlinks pointing at your site won't hurt your SEO, won't help either but Google will just ignore them.

Thank you for your insights. I completely agree that implementing JSON schema markup is essential for improving site structure and enhancing search engine understanding. It’s great that there are tools available to simplify this process by generating the code for easy integration.

Additionally, paying attention to Google's Core Web Vitals by including proper alt tags for images and specifying image width and height directly in the HTML is important for both SEO and user experience. These smaller technical details can collectively make a significant impact.

Regarding backlinks, you’re right — sketchy or low-quality backlinks generally don’t harm your SEO, but they also don’t provide any benefit. Google typically ignores such links rather than penalizing your site, which is reassuring.
