Can you help me how to take up right location for a dedicated server?
When you buy a new dedicated server, there are available server locations for you to choose, that depends on country that you are going to put your websites on.

is it important when choosing a new server for you?
Sure, it is always important for me when choosing a location for my server, I think my websites will load faster for visitors if my websites are putting at their country. Thats why I prefer choosing US loaction.

Well, it's pretty important because of the latency. It increases as the distance from the server location increases. Also, the google ranking and loading speed depend on the server location. So yeah, better choose one wisely.

It depends what you are running on the server. In general, you should have your content stored on servers as close to your end users as possible. It's one of the factors how fast your content will be available to your users; you don't want them to wait. Get a few IPs from your users and test Traceroute or MTR to see which locations will be the most suitable to your needs. Experienced providers will be able to recommend the location if you tell them your needs as they know their routing and network capacity.

It's important to pick a data center that is close to you and your target audience. It keeps latency at bay. If latency is too high, the server speed reduces significantly, resulting in slow web page loading speed.
Latency aside, it is also important to find out if the data center has the right facility to host your servers. To name a few, these facilities include, data backup in case of disasters, protection against cyber attacks, protection against fire hazards, cooling system etc.

yes it is every time important when we are looking for hosting or server. Service location must be your targeted country.
Example, if your website targeting USA based customers then your server location should be USA based.

This thing will help you to boost your website performance and also aid you in other sections.

If you want to take up a dedicated server location, you first need to determine the size of your data center and the type of server you need. You can then use our tools to find the best location for your server.

There are many advantages to having your server located in a specific location. It is the most important thing, even for a new server. You also will not have to worry about customs issues, as your server will not be carrying any prohibited items. Finally, you will be able to reduce the time it takes to respond to customer service issues.

Always best to choose to have the server location as close to your target audience as possible.

While this thread is almost five years old, I do find this to be an interesting query posted by a data center representative. Certainly, latency is important as it relates to the predominant client's geo-location.
