Do you know differences between bitmap and vector graphic ?

Images stored as vectors look better on devices (monitors and printers) with higher resolution, whereas bit-mapped images always appear the same regardless of a device's resolution.

Everything we see on our monitors are bitmaps or pixels - you will not be able to upload a vector graphic file to a website and have it visible... cos it isn't pixels.

Vector graphics are used to create a piece of art or design, then either printed or saved as a web compliant file like jpeg, png, gif, tiff etc (which are all bitmaps) and upoaded.

Image resolution is a whole different area, but it is possible to make a bitmap look just as good as its vector brother on most regular screens and sizes... its only when zooming that you'll see a difference.

vector graphics don't have a set size, it is a mathematical calculation that resizes the image based on how you size it.
