I like the news feed on the homepage. I was thinking about buying Xenporta 2 and doing something like that myself after a while. Homepages tend to give more options for viewing other threads as it gives you more areas to add widgets.

I also like the side-by-side nodes. Small nodes side by side like that look really good.

Your site looks good, but loading speed is pretty slow for the first time, you might need to optimize your hosting.
there are two small things may need to improve on your homepage and forum

You can make this background blur a bit, it make me distract when viewing your content on forum boxes.

Correct this corner on mobile devices? seem it has a small issue with CSS there.

I prefer automatically load new posts on homepage instead of using Load more button. Also, you should consider to create a video category on your site.

Your site looks good for both homepage and forums, I like the layouts and colors that you combined there.
Just some small suggestions:

Make these thumbnails full on the boxes

Add images or videos into your post content to make them more attractive with readers, also it also improves SEO scores for your posts.

Add extra categories for this section, that will give visitors more options to choose to read...etc

on your forums, make font size of forum titles bigger a bit, increase 1 or 2 sizes for them and change colors of thread titles to somethings bolder.

Make these bars on your sidebar a background color, you can a dark background with white text on it.

Brad, your site is rad! I don't know much about the topic, but I love the imagery you used. All that effort your are putting into it shows when one is browsing your site. The issue with the fonts that I talked with you about on xenforo is still there when viewed on firefox desktop. Other than that, everything looks awesome!

Very good design the images at the top of the banner maybe could use a higher resolution the quality looks a little pixelated otherwise the rest looks great
