How do you start a reseller web hosting company?

I would like to start a reseller hosting account but not sure where & how to go?
Anyone shoots me some guide. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello Mr.Wizard

First you need to find a reseller provider that you trust and have the features you need. Ensure their support is good and prices affordable.
Then sign up and if their support is good, they will walk you through every step of it and help your answer your customer's questions. We some times even do the connections to servers, etc for our customers.
Be sure that who ever you go for has good hardware, e.g. SSD drives, new Processors etc.

Starting as a hosting reseller is easy, you need the following.

1. A cPanel reseller account
2. Website to display your products and enable your customer to order from you.
3. Professional billing and management software (WHMCS) is not essential to get started but very much recommended. It makes linking your site to you backend ordering system easy as placing a link on your website and will automatically provision new accounts along with many other useful features.

Depending on your technical knowledge or how much spare time you have it's always best to use a host that has great support, many hosts will only support you and not your customers so end user support is recommended.

you need reseller hosting plan, billing system (whmcs is famous) and a domain name
note that reseller hosting plans based on cPanel control panel cant be automatically backed up. You would have to have a server to have root access.

First search for a reseller hosting provider who matches your requirement. Also check for their TOS to know how they reach on customer abuse complaints because many providers are not reseller friendly and they suspend full account of reseller on a single spam complaint.
