What is a cn2 line?
The CN2 network is China Telecom's next-generation bearer network line. Its full English name is: China Net Next Carrying Network, or CN2 for short. China Telecom has two IP networks: ChinaNet (CN1) and CN2. CN2 line is the highest quality network bandwidth line currently launched by China Telecom. For a detailed introduction, you can view the previously introduced: China Telecom Hong Kong CN2 network line introduction

cn2 network line characteristics
CN2's global IP backbone is highly resilient, highly redundant and low-latency. Compared with the bandwidth lines we usually use, CN2 lines are like the difference between highways and ordinary roads. On highways, the CN2 network is faster and there will be no congestion. If the customer places the server overseas and uses ordinary lines, there will be a large number of nodes, which will result in slower domestic access. Therefore, it is recommended to use a computer room connected to the cn2 line, which has faster access speed, lower delay, and more stable network.

How to judge whether it is a cn2 line
At present, more and more computer rooms in Hong Kong, the United States and other places are connected to cn2 network lines. Through tests, it can be seen that the access speed will be faster when the computer room is connected to cn2 network. If the computer room does not use the cn2 network and passes the test, you can see the difference.

How do you know if your server is on the CN2 line? In fact, CN2 lines all have a common feature, that is, during the routing test, the routing node passing through 59.43.xx will be found. If 59.43.xx appears, it means that your server is a CN2 line. This can be tested by:

1. Route tracing query test through webkaka tool

Through the test, it can be seen that the routing node is: China Telecom CN2 node reaches Hong Kong. The starting IP is the IP of 59.43.xx. It is determined that CN2 is the line.

It is determined by routing that the route is China Telecom (Hong Kong) International Co., Ltd. Telecom CN2 node

2. Query and test through tracert route tracing command

Open the computer running command window (click the computer start menu, open the running tool, enter cmd), enter "tracert test IP" in the command interface, and then press the "Enter" key to query:

Through the test in the figure below, we can see that the routing node is the IP of 59.43.xx, so it is determined to be the cn2 line.

Query through the tracert route tracing command

It can be judged from the above that generally the line routing node using cn2 will use the IP of 59.43.xx. If you need to use a CN2 network server, you can also apply for Hong Kong server testing. Currently, the computer room is connected to Hong Kong's CN2 line. You can test the specific CN2 line speed.
