Hi. I suggest you try to manually backup every once in a while to prevent data loss.Manual backup reduces the possibility of data loss by 99%.
The advantage of shared hosting is that it is cheap. But in vps hosting, by buying a backup server, you can prevent data destruction.

As we know, the web hosting industry grows day by day. There are lots of good web hosting service available to host a website. Before go with any web hosting provider, I think first you have to work on your requirements then decide.
As you are asking, shared or VPS, which one is good? So, I think for simple and static websites, shared hosting will be the right choice. For higher traffic and eCommerce type of sites, VPS hosting is the right choice.

Cloud hosting is an ambiguous term which mean different things depending of the provider, if you mean a cloud server which is usually a VPS then you don't really need this for most of the websites unless you have very high traffic. A good shared hosting plan with access to 1-2 full CPU and more than 1GB of RAM is usually enough.

Data is crucial. Please go with the reliable hosting provider and check if it provides data backup features. If not you know what you have to do. Last but not the least, do not rush for any cheap plan that might save your just money but may push you in trouble later. Be genuine and opt wisely. Happy Hosting!

Hello,

Basically, Cloud hosting is widely seen as a better option to shared hosting because of its ability to handle large amounts of traffic, its improved security protection, and its reliability.

However, these extras do come at a cost, and most cloud hosting options are more expensive than shared hosting plans. But if you’re planning on growing your site and you need a site with a high performance rate, the advantages then cloud hosting will probably be the best option for your needs.

That being said, if you’re just getting started and have a very small or nonexistent budget, a shared hosting plan may be a good option for you then you until you have the cash to upgrade.

1. You can follow these points while you are choosing the hosting company:
-Check the web host’s server uptime record
-Check if they offer multiple add-on domains
-Ask about the company’s refund policy.
-Find out what a basic contract offers.
-Check for specialty features.
-Always check the reviews

2. Shared hosting or VPS
A VPS is in most cases better, as a VPS offers isolation from other users on the server and you’ll probably get full control (root access) over a VPS, so you can install and use whatever you want. With a VPS, you’ll have a faster website because you’ll have dedicated resources to your server instance.

I know how it feels. Losing data is a pain. It is always best to replicate your data once in local storage to always be ready with backup in situations like these. Coming to the question.

I will suggest that cloud hosting is a much better option, and there are various providers in the market. You can choose according to your business or website requirements.

The choice whether to use shared linux server hosting or cloud server hosting is compelled primarily by professional requirements. The dissimilarity between these two hosting styles is as unlike as the business models that select them.

Shared Linux hosting uses a hardware infrastructure that is rented precisely for the trade's requirements. One or more waiters are linux hosting solely to the use of the applications required to run on those servers. This is attractive to some professional models as it doesn't require the upkeep and maintenance of servers, the equipment is located in a safe data center, and there is no need to invest in hardware.

Cloud hosting deals more flexibility, particularly for a newer business that doesn't have or yet requirement a large investment in hardware and software. Unlike shared Linux hosting, a cloud hosted environment offers a virtual solution where the infrastructure and software are impeccably distributed amongst many servers within the cloud. A business usually pays for a Linux- or Windows-based hosting plan that is scaled towards their specific requirements.

Both shared Linux hosting and cloud hosting deal their share of advantages and disadvantages that depend on business necessities. It's up to each business to choose which hosting platform is best for them.

When it comes to a war between Cloud hosting vs Shared hosting, the Cloud is always the best choice. Shared hosting, though cheaper, involves a lot of risks. Cloud hosting is definitely a smarter choice for growing businesses and start-ups.

Cloud hosting plans offer a lot more features and tools when compared to the traditional Shared web hosting services. In Cloud hosting, you get SEO improvement tools, CMS solutions, eCommerce tools, website building features and also many social media integration functions that allow you to link the website to other platforms as well. In standard Shared hosting, however, users get only the basic functions. For everything else, they have to pay.

Shared hosting is not at all safe. Your website is under constant threat of an online attack, data hacking or malware infestation. As all the resources are shared by different websites, there is also the threat of reduced performance and unauthorized access to your personal files.

In Cloud based web hosting, there are a number of hosts and hence a wider tech-support community that can be reached via chat, phone or video calls.

Hii,

When you purchase web hosting services, the main thing you are getting is server space to host the files that make up your website. Ensuring that the physical servers are protected against threats is the first step in feeling confident that the data saved on those servers is secure.

Actually Cloud hosting is a service that exists on multiple servers. Instead of on one shared server, your site is hosted in the cloud. This means the company can bounce your website hosting between servers as it adjusts to performance spikes and other stresses.

Shared web hosting is the cheapest, most popular and most widely available type of hosting solution. You’ll usually see it advertised for $9.99 or less a month.
With shared hosting a single server is divided up between multiple users. Each user will get a shared amount of bandwidth. However, each user can also put an unlimited amount of sites on their account.
