I am going to add some VPS plans and was wondering which one is best for CPanel?

Or is one recommended?

As you will need at least 4GB RAM and 20GB SSD to run properly, you can look at scalway, you will have a VPS for $7. Network is very good, CPU less.

If you need more CPU, they also sell bare metal server (small dedicated) from $13.

Some hosting experts said if installing cPanel, just need 2 GB of RAM, why you recommend 4GB RAM 2 or 4 core CPU?

If I run websites then I can need extra 4Gb RAM more, so total 8GB of RAM for websites to run on a VPS with cPanel. Seem it is too much.

You can go for a 4 core 4GB RAM server for the above mentioned requirement. Your websites will run smoothly on 4GB RAM server

I have to agree with you kurokood, I feel cPanel consume more my RAM but i could not find how much it consumed.

For other hosting panels, I saw they used lesser RAM than cPanel.

@Virtubox One doesn't need SSD storage to run cPanel on a VPS, does it? :)

@Gonzalo made a very good point that cPanel doesn't need 4 GB of RAM to be operational and stable. If it needed that many memory to run properly cPanel would loose their market position very fast, as it would be a total loss of computing resources. Our Virtual Server user statistics (other's might have different data) shows that in most VPS and VM installations, 512 MB - 768 MB are more than enough for cPanel to run properly.
