How much RAM for Windows 7 to run on a VPS?

I want to buy a small Windows VPS to run Windows 7 on it and Vutlr VPS fits my requirements but I am not sure 512 MB of RAM can help me to run Windows 7 there? or I need better RAM as 1GB or 2GB of RAM for windows?

As per windows website the minimum requirement is :
1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

Thanks for your info but I only want a small VPS to install windows and test somthings out hence needing a cheap windows VPS.

Just remember, that is the minimum recommended to run Windows. It also depends on what programs you plan on running on it.

It is just a few small programs and they will not consume more RAM which to use for Windows.
From what you said, I think I will buy a 512 MB RAM windows VPS and will try to install on it.
