Now back to your question, since you want to run multi blog site free/cheap/unlimited hosting wont cover your needs.

It would be better to spend like 5-10USD/mo and get HQ hosting which you will can cover with ads from Adsense or whatever.

There are many free hosting out there such as byethost, 000webhost, hostinger, awardspace, 5gbfree, etc...
However, in my experience, I would like to suggest ByetHost is comparatively better than other free hosting in terms of cpu, speed, uptime, no ads and support.
If you are serious about your business, I would also suggest that you do not use free hosting. Because in the future, your business may be get increased then you will face with many problem with free host such as bandwidth, CPU, memory,...and in case your traffic get increased, your account will be banned from provider without any notice. So go with paid hosts at the first time you run your business.

Good luck to you!

I would not use free hosting, for a few dollars/euros a month you can get a hosting account with support it almost is free.

I will suggest you to not use free hosting, because they have limits like: Inodes Used ( upload/download files - byet), file size upload limit, mysql requests, unstable, low bandwidth, etc. Personally didn't heard that someone had banned account from provider for big traffic, but had experience for unreachable website for 15-20 days.
You can try some of free (some hosting companies use free hosting as tryout for their web hosting: awardspace, thebandzy, etc) but they have expensive paid offers.

Go with some shared, clustered shared hosting when you see that your hosting isn't enough go with VPS hosting (better option for multi blogs). How you grow use better hosting options.

WP blog can easy eat CPU and bandwidth so it is recommended to use cache plugins, multi blogs maybe can be hosted on one shared account if they don't go with VPS
hope I help you with your decision.

Hello,

I would say never trust on free hosting providers. Most of the time they shutdown company without any prior notification and you will loose all your data. So spend some amount where you will get backup of your account whenever you need it.

Have a happy hosting !

The only time I would use a free host is for testing/development. For even $2-$3 per month you can get a shared plan with a reputable company that offers support, backups, better resources etc.

One thing that discourages many from free hosting is the lack or absence of support. Also the limited resources and the fear that one day you may just get up and your website is gone. Despite it being free, most of them are very unreliable.

Another issue I experienced with free hosting is that eMail and database servers are always down.

Other than for testing and development, free hosting is not the best.

I think you should not go for free web hosting as free hosting do not have proper support services and resources are in limit and reliability is also a major factor so it is best not to go for free web hosting.

If you are developing your multiple blogs, definitely I would not suggest to go with free hosting because they have no responsibility on your content or blog as they are providing hosting at free of cost. So, you can choose the premium hosting by selecting a hosting provider who are running more than a couple of years and providing personal or blog hosting at competitive price.

Agreed, I never go with free web hosting, we will get what we pay for, normally i used to pay $30 for a hosting package/ month and it increases depending on hosting features.

I think free hosting is just for testing somethings or functions for our website. Other than that, we should pay a bit for web hosting packages if we only host for small websites.
Just curious how to know if a web hosting ran their hosting business within many years, do they reveal this?

You can make a list of hosting providers (2-4) whose hosting plans are matching your requirement.
Simply search on forums, google it about them, see their website age, also check if they have any bad or negative comments and analyze its reality ( negative reviews won't be paid one but sometime it might also written from competitors).

Thanks for your advice, I think if checking how long a web hosting business has run then need to check their site carefully and what their customers said so we can choose a good hosting provider.

Free hosting is just very very risky to use. A free not-known populair provider is not worth. They will take your site down and a day later they gone. So its not trusted to use a free hosting package. If I was you I would recommed to use cheap shared hosting and on this forum can you find tons of cheap hosting provider. The problem with free hosting is that everyone can abuse their servers and if a data center says "Its enough" then you're dead! Cheap providers doesn't have that issue. Because abusers looking only for free hosting providers! I've providing self free hosting and I am completely know how it works for people with free hosting.

https://www.heroku.com

This platform is the perfect example of successful growth, over the last couple of years heroku has become the place to go to when someone is looking to launch a new startup or a business. It provides incredibly cloud facilities and the server performance is really great, especially when it's free!
