Why are RAM prices rising?

Why do you think that RAM prices are rising in present times? Does the demand and the supply of RAM are connected and it is the main reason of why the RAM's value goes up instantly this 2018? I doubt why they need to do that.

I am a bit more agree with you, for me, RAM price is only increased on new models, for old models of RAM as DDR2, DDR3 then its price is still very stable and if you don't have high demand to have the latest technology of RAM, older versions are still good.

How did you say that older versions are still good? Do they have a stable price for it which makes the older versions of RAM more affordable to buy? DDR3 is good exactly. So I will wait until the consumers stop demanding to buy the newer version of RAM then i'll go for it. hehe. I will stick to DDR3 right now.

Many applications today require high RAM. Mostly famous games today require more than 8GB RAM.
