So I'm going thru some updates. I see Mariadb. I was wondering if I update it to mariadb instead of mysql will I face any issues? or it runs the same way as mysql? will any of my database be effected ?
I changed to MariaDB ver 10.1.22 and using it on my website. I want to know on how to enable slow queries logs in MariaDB? Is it the same as Mysql slow query log?
I asked my hosting providers and they said I am using MySQL for my web databases, I read posts on the forum and MariaDB is getting more good feedback. Can I use MariaDB for my website and how to switch from Mysql to MariaDB?
Thanks in advance.
Emily
