I would like to buy one cloud hosting from these providers this week but not sure which provider is better. I used DigitalOcean in the past and it is pretty good but never tried AWS. Can any one suggest me?

What are the primary differences between a hosting service like GoDaddy and a cloud based hosting like Amazon Web Services? I could not distinguish and between hoisting services from Aws and Godaddy? which is better?
Someone should please assist me with a solution to this. I set up the one year free vps by Amazon and now couldn't figure how to cancel before they charge my card. I've searched but couldn't get a hang of the cancellation process.

I used DO but not AWS, DigitalOcean has many good hosting features if you want to start a decent VPS hosting package.Can anyone share some comparison in terms of ecosystem, scalability, ease of setup, pricing between DigitalOcean and AWS? I want to know more services of AWS.
