Yeah, unfortunately for your sake it's worth the domain registration fee. The only way I can see this being monetized would be with Commission Sales, CPA offers, or low quality CPM/CPC advertisements. High quality advertisers such as Adsense wouldn't accept a domain with the term "drug" in it...

For me I make it a rule of thumb to add www. to domains/websites. This way it is less confusing plus I think it looks better. However, my only exception would be for one word websites, I wouldn't add www. That's just me :)
