I read more about these providers on this forum but their ddos protection services then I don't know, did any one here use both, which ddos protection service from which provider is better? I want to find a decent dedicated server with good ddos protection but not sure i can find a good one.

In other words, do groups or individuals that launch sophisticated DDOS attacks always do so with a specific motive against the entity (like a grudge) or are people often random victims of the attacker?
