Have you tried to open a sql file 500 MB with this tool?I used to work with Adobe's Dreamweaver back in the days (2005).
Now I use Brackets (http://brackets.io/) which free & open source. It uses less memory when compared to Dreamweaver & other code editors.
I will check Brackets out.C# => Visual Studio 2016
PHP, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, Bash, Perl => Atom & Sublime Text 2
Java, Java EE => Brackets
Those are my favorite IDEs
Sometimes Dreamweaver generates unwanted codes, this is one of reasons that I didn't like it although I still am using it for any purposes.My first and favorite code editor tool is Dreamweaver and I regular use this tool for doing work .
