Hmm that's a good question. Personally I think yes and no because there are pros and cons. I think if you fail at first it will motivate you into working harder to improve your business. On the other hand it's hard to see something you like fail because you had great ideas but they never worked. It can help in the long run because you can learn from failing.
Mistakes are inevitable in the road to success.As an example, how many businesspeople live by the philosophy "the customer is king" or "never argue with a customer" as suggested by personal development trainer, Brian Tracy?
It really isn't a correct mindset where we "need to fail" in order to succeed on any business.
The good thing about failing is that we learn something from it, we learn from our mistakes and making us ready for a new beginning which will gives us a higher chance of success.
Failure is path to success but please don't make the same mistake, if you are repeating your mistakes then you are not doing the good work, I would say.
