We all know three important terms of SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, and technical SEO but what is the major difference between on-page and technical SEO?

Technical SEO or specialized SEO refers to any SEO work that is done beside the actual substance. In the mean time, On-Page SEO implies everything that you can do on your site/content.

Hey there!
Here is a brief description about SEO and its types;
On-page SEO
Search engines don't view pages as humans do. They can only read the page source code. When you right-click on a webpage, you can usually see a code view option. If you don't know HTML, it will look jumbled. But it's this muddle that search engines scour for clues.
On-page SEO requires a basic understanding of HTML and websites' basic coding. So, web developers, pardon the brevity!
Off-page SEO
This tells search engines how to index pages. However, ranking pages for the same query is substantially more difficult because search engines track various signals to judge a page's relevance to others.
These strategies are employed outside your site to increase ranking signals. This is the most common. Backlinks were considered an indicator of website popularity in early Google versions. A page should be ranked higher if it has more backlinks. Each backlink could also be weighed based on the site's popularity.
Technical SEO
Technical SEO is a catch-all category for all SEO improvements. These changes affect your website's code. Correcting faulty technical SEO might give you a small but significant ranking increase.

These two activities are generally misunderstood or used alternatively.

On-Page SEO includes all the activities that are related to content. Such as page or site content, title tags & meta tag optimization, Heading tag optimization, internal links, image optimization, etc.

While on the other hand, Technical SEO activities include improving site speed, creating and submitting a sitemap, optimizing your website for structured data, etc.

On-page SEO activities help the search engines understand your content better and rank it accordingly.
And technical SEO activities impact your website indexing and crawling by the search engine.

Technical SEO is the process of optimizing your site and its structure so that search engines can swiftly crawl, index, and analyze it.

It's like driving a brand new Lamborghini without an engine if your technical SEO isn't up to par.

On-site SEO, also known as on-page SEO, is the process of optimizing your content for both search engine rankings and user experience; you want them to see you in the SERPs and be attracted to what you may have to offer.

That being said, you should consider them both as building blocks to be built upon. You'll be locked on a never-ending treadmill of mediocrity if you don't learn the fundamentals.

SEO is an abbreviation for "search engine optimization." In layman's terms, it refers to the process of improving your website so that it appears more prominently when people search for products or services related to your company on Google, Bing, and other search engines. The higher the visibility of your pages in search results, the more likely you are to attract attention and attract new and existing customers to your company.
These are the different kinds of SEO:
On-page SEO – Anything on your web pages – Blogs, product copy, web copy.
Off-page SEO – Anything which happens away from your website that helps with your SEO Strategy- Backlinks.
Technical SEO – Anything technical undertaken to improve Search Rankings – site indexing to help bot crawling.
