Recently I got issues with my hosting and I had to move to another hosting companies. When I checked the hosting company I faced issues, I see their website is still new, just a year old, like they just built their hosting company 1 year ago. Should I go with hosting companies that worked in the industry in more years than using services from new hosting companies?

Even a well-known web hosting company have issues from their customers. I guess what's important is how they resolve those issues and how much support you can get from them. And I believe small web host will give you that extra support for your website and business. :)

It's true there are challenges but a Web hosting provider that allows 24/7 support, Money guarantee and Cheap Hosting is the way to go.let me know if you would like to use a really established Webhosting company that provides all services I have mentioned there and many more.
Best wishes

Well, the age of an Hosting company has very little to do with how reliable their services are.
For example, I am an Engineer at FincoApps and FincoApps have been in business for years. FincoApps hosts it's clients websites and Mobile Apps privately.

Recently, we decided to make the Hosting service public as FincoHost.... Now, you can see how an experienced company might have a brand new website.

Like others said. It is about support and how the company handles issues

It depends!
No one can decide that is a good or bad hosting depending on their website, but for sure, you should buy from popular and well known web hosting companies to avoid issues or problems can happen.

We advise you to try it under their money-back guarantee. Keep in mind that even old hosting companies have issues sometimes that could result in losing your data. It is advised and in every hosting provider, TOS to keep a backup of your file. Now whether it's new or not it does not really matter. What matters is are they professional? Do they have a good infrastructure?

New company can be very reliable if they a good infrastructure. Here at How Tekno we normally have your website backed up at least 2 times even if you don't pay for backup. However, we don't guarantee it in our TOS. Also, we duplicate our server to have the maximum uptime possible. We always have at least 2 nodes for a given cPanel instance. Keep in mind that VPS and dedicated servers do not have this feature as it is a different setup. So read their features and try them. Make sure you pay using PayPal or credit card to be safe.

I'm sure that you can always can find a key which would allow you to test somehow the company you are checking: don't really matter if they are old or new. There is the option which is called money back guarantee during this period you can test the company. From the other end you can always check reviews. Old companies like hostingsource, hostgator, qhoster etc would have lots of them, but new company also will have a few recent. Anyways remember, that your own experience will not be the same as shared in reviews.

There are two things that you should be worried about when choosing a host that is new:
1. Do they have enough experience to provide you with the support you need?
2. How much longer are they gonna stay on the market rather than how much time they spent? For instance, you have paid annually or biennially or triennially and they disappear in 5 months then what will happen. It is not about the money, it's about the data, files, databases and email, and other stuff you are hosting.

There is a minor difference in the hardware between every host. some are using better hardware and some are using average. But what matters most here is the support. Are they willing to work hard to make your experience better every day and provide you everything you need? Sometimes a hosting company is new but they can provide a lot better services than the ones that are even giants or stayed on market for so long. We've clients that left huge companies like, rackspace, inmotion, digitalocean, godaddy, and moved to us when we were a year or two old. And we were not actually a year old, because we rebraded and changed our name. A new domain and a new look everything was new and new customers would take us as new in the market.

In my personal opinion, I will not choose hosting service from new website, it is more risks because they can build it just lying people. At least I need reviews or recommendations from people used their services in a long time.

This is true. Every web hosting company is different. You will find that there are some new web hosting companies that are not actual companies, others actually are officially setup companies. Regardless of whether they are official or not, it might be worth reaching out to any web hosting company that you are interested in and getting an idea of what their support is like. This way you would be testing out their response times and you'd get the opportunity to ask any questions about your concerns that you have.

Small hosting providers mostly offer care and support for clients, due to the fact that web hosting business is highly competitive. Nobody(service provider) will take a chance and provide bad services to clients, unless the provider is a scammer. Often companies, that run in cheap price models give up after some days or months due to the fact that maintaining customer support is crucial for this business. We cannot say that cheap companies are bad totally, but most cheaply priced providers cannot offer the support you expect, because it costs them money and time and nothing is free in this world. So, when choosing a new provider, you can first try to communicate with them over their preferred communication channels and see if they are good or not. And start small, with them. This way you do not risk loosing your data / customers who host site through you.

I don't talk about small companies, I always like buying services from small companies because they even have better support than big/giant hosting companies, I am talking about new providers in the industry, I should buy or trust them?

Every hosting company was new when it launched. This does not mean that they are not good or that they should not have customers at least until they are 2-3 + years old.
To be able to reach 2-3 + years they definitely need customers :)

In fact new hosting companies pay more attention to their customers needs, respectively, their servers are not as busy as those of large companies, which leads to better website performance and so on.

Of course, there are always exceptions and people who think that they will quickly make a lot of money by launching a hosting company, which ends in disappointment for both sides.

I personally would check if the company is real. There are many sites without contacts, address, phone number, etc., but only with a contact form. Also for how long the domain has been registered. In most cases, if someone has decided to run a scam hosting, they will not bother to register the domain for more than 1 year, etc.

but for new companies, they can leave the market if they don't have customers or don't have fund to maintain their business :) that will make customers face more risks.

This is so, but they can quit even after 2-3 or 5 years.
For example, you start a hosting company with a 5 year budget and goal.
At the end of these 5 years you see that the plan is not fulfilled and its better to shut down this business instead of continuing to invest time and money in it.

The thing is that every company has to be new at some point, and none of them will survive the first year or two if everyone takes the attitude of not using a new company.

We have been around for about a year and a half, and getting the first few clients over the first months was really hard. We've moved past that, been in existence for a reasonable length of time, got recommendations from existing clients, and can now give out references from clients that we have worked with, but without the first few people willing to give us a chance to show how good we could be then we would never have made it through that initial startup.

There are numerous things to deliberate while selecting a service provider. Before picking however, it is very significant to be sure of the necessities of your business. This implies that one must consult all the team members involved about the basic necessities like bandwidth, disc space etc. as if you need to upload graphics on your website you will required more disc space and vice versa. After you are sure of necessities, look for at least 4-5 hosting providers which are common in the market. There should be several features available along with the server selected by you like website building tools, control panel required, FTP access which is vital for uploading new pages to your website etc. Validate that if you grow and require more space is they equipped enough to deliver you with future requirements of your business. One cannot be sure of the business requirements in future but examining about those that are a must is not incorrect.

Check out the trustworthiness and constancy of the web hosting service provider. The web hosting business must at least be a year old in business. The web hosting services technical support should be available 24 X 7 to their clients. One can also check the support quality by calling in the business for support as someone else and check the response.

The web hosting business must at least be a year old in business.
Someone can start a company today with very low monthly expenses, keep it running for a year, or two, or ten with absolutely no clients at all. Age of the company alone does not actually signify anything.

On the reverse side of that, how is a genuine company supposed to reach this magical one year old number if every potential client avoids them until they do?

In my opinion, I give a try to new companies because they starve to survive in the industry so they provide better support and if technical support is 24/7 and provide satisfactory support and resolve tickets as quickly as possible I prefer them in future.

The age of a host is not the issue, it is the people behind it. If you look around at reviews you will find customers who have had bad experiences with every company. There is no such thing as a perfect company although that is the end goal of each business owner or CEO. Take Brent Oxley for example. He was the founder of Hostgator in 2002 while still a student at Florida Atlantic University. He did all of his own support and marketing and by 2012 sold his company to Endurance for $299 Million. If people ignored him because he was new he never could have grown it into the company it became. However, they are not perfect either and there are a good number of people who have had bad experiences, but yet way more who love them.

The problem with many newer web hosts is that they underestimate the work that is involved in hosting. Worse yet are those that look at hosting as a get rich quick scheme and have no real knowledge of the business. Some smaller new hosts struggle with their support during the first few years because of their size not always because this is the way they want to conduct business. They are competing against giant hosts within the industry who have much more funding, but given the chance they might become the next Hostgator.
