Hi guys!

So I’m at a loss!

I currently use a domain through GoDaddy. Although the website aspect I have few complaints about, their online shop to list inventory to sell online is booty.

So the company I work with does a lot with designs (ours and/ or yours). From 32 different tshirt colors, to coffee mugs or shot glasses, and vinyl designs for trucks we need the ability to have a host that allows our customers to better see what their ordering. With GoDaddy we can only upload 10 images per listing (which we couldn’t even show each individual shirt color). They also cap us out on listings even though we’re under an “unlimited” plan. There is also no option for customers to upload their images to send to us.

So, ultimately I’m looking for a new provider that would be able to better accommodate. Doing some research there are A LOT of options.... so anyone with the knowledge/ expertise that could recommend I would greatly appreciate!

Much thanks x
Hope everyone’s staying safe through the pandemic!

A lot of web hosts are better than GoDaddy.
You've posted in the request's category, so web hosts are allowed to recommend their own services in this particular category.

Most web hosts with CloudLinux will have a limit on files (inodes).
The standard limit is around 500,000.

It will help others if you list your requirements. Such as:
Storage needed?
Bandwidth needed?
Server location?
Shared, reseller, VPS, or dedicated server?
Any control panel preferred? (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, etc).
Windows or Linux hosting?
Budget?

I'm late to the party, and offer web hosting services, but from your description, would you need a new online store, or to move your existing store to a new web host? What platform is the current store (WooCommerce, Magento, etc)?

Hi, how many products do you/the company have, what is the aprox. daily traffic and how much disk space do you need?

With all due respect to other comments, I see that you are running an e-commerce website. In that case, if I were to suggest a hosting I would say we have what you need. However, you will have to set up everything as WordPress and the store. For an easier way, you have lots of websites like Shopify which is very easy and fast. The problem with those is that you don't have much control over the backend. So it is your call. I would be more than happy to assist you.

Hey,

Not sure if you have figured this out, but I think with the kind of requirements you have, I think you can look at BlueHost India if you have an e-commerce website (from what it seems to me). They do specialise in websites/brands of this kind to say the least.

Also, where are you located and what is your budget and tech specification requirement? Also, what is the current plan you are running on?

Take a look at Dotable! Super cheap and easy to get started - unlimited products and variations on their online store package. You get a free domain too, but it doesn't sound like you need one. ** dotable.com **

Choosing affordable and reliable hosting is a necessity for all companies, thus unlimited web hosting is quite effective and often a good choice, but is most likely unnecessary for all but the largest clients. With the price of everything today, there are times you want to save money. So, how one can do this is to use inexpensive hosting with the best deal. Most clients will only use a few hundred megabytes of disk space and maybe a gigabyte of data transfer so unlimited web hosting plans are usually unnecessary, and can have negative impacts. Some noticeable points to be mentioned here which will assist in effective comparison of Hosting deals are: Reliability, Cost of Service Comparison, ease of set up, Control Panel Usability, Uptime, and Customer Support.

You can contact the provider not only through mail but also through toll free numbers for customer service. As one step further, some of the companies offer free domain names for any packages you purchase.

As a bottom line, don't forget to check the service, especially uptime of the server as it is important for uninterrupted web service. Happy Hosting!
