People are recommending me to use Javascript to make my website interactive. I don't know what is Javascript. I have these questions in my mind:

1. What is the use of Javascript?
2. Is it a software or codes?
3. Can I Use Javascript in Wordpress?

I am happy if you can put your answer in layman's term. Please do not use highly technical words.

Hello great question!

1. JavaScript is used to create an automation process for your website. E.g. when you visit website you get a “Hello Malcolm from Canada”
2. its codes!

1. JavaScript is most commonly used as a client side scripting language. This means that JavaScript code is written into an HTML page. When a user requests an HTML page with JavaScript in it, the script is sent to the browser and it's up to the browser to do something with it.
2. It is coding language.
3. Yes, Javascript can be used in Wordpress.
