Which is better HP or Acer?

For much time I have been in struggling to get a new laptop. Currently I am using acer but want to get a new one.
You tell me what should be my choice there. I mean should I go for a HP or Acer again?

I'd recommend expanding your brand scope, although HP is pretty good you should to see if there is other brands that can provide you to your need better than acer or up.

Hello, from my own experience, I have been using HP, after using Toshiba for some years. Thus, I would recommend you to go for HP. They function pretty well, and it's easier to get their spare parts.

But, you should go for a brand that is within your budget. Also, the laptop should suit your purpose.

Though I cannot write about Acer from personal experience, I've owned an HP laptop for around 4 years now. I bought an ENVY model, mainly for editing video and audio as well as some gaming on the side. The biggest downside to an HP laptop is the cooling system in my experience. It tends to run really hot when rendering or playing a game for an extended period of time.

I've had some trouble with the motherboard that has cost me a couple hundred of dollars to have repaired as well. Will I buy another HP equipment once I have to replace my old laptop? I don't think so. I think I'll go for MSI next time.

Id go for HP, i have been using my HP laptop for almost 5 years and i can say i was satisfied with it. During my college days i used this to create our system for our thesis and no hassle i encounter using HP. so i still prefer HP.

Hello, I have had an acer laptop for many years and did serve me well .This year I purchased an hp desk top for 400 euros while I was in Spain , it’s fantastic to use , easy to set up from Spainish to English fortunately.I have to be honest in my view I prefer the hp product .

HP and Acer are both good quality brands. I suggest, buy your laptop base on specifications and what use it is intended for. I have two laptops now, one of it is ACER and I don't have issues with it. It serves its purpose well.

I already used HP and Acer before. I want to share my experience to you so somehow I could help you with that and I hope so.

They are both affordable with high-quality options for customers but they have different pros and cons.
1. I found Acer a little cheaper than HP if with almost same specs. I think Acer tends to focus more on making affordable products for average consumers.
2. HP offers more RAM than Acer thus most of the time HP runs faster than Acer.
3. Acer is portable than HP. Acer is quite light-weight than HP.
4. I had an issue with my Acer before. Maybe its security. I just noticed my Acer runs slower and had many viruses although I have anti-virus installed. However, I am not sure if it was my mistake on my part or it is really the gadget I bought. So, I go to HP brand and I had no problem same with my Acer.

I recommend Acer, though HP is also a good brand especially if you’re in a business world wherein all your business is platform thru internet. Acer on the hand provides the most user friendly laptop at the same time they have the latest software that other brands don’t have yet. Also in terms of quality, Acer is more advisable since I have friends and colleagues that used HP before and they had issues with the overheating problem and makes their laptop lag after using HP for four hours.

HP is like a default. It works as a laptop, but don't expect any high end quality.
Acer is pretty good, but like others said, I would actually go for a Lenovo. Specs are different depending what version of the laptop's brand you're buying, but overall, Lenovo seemed to have been able to run smoother and last for a longer time. My Acer was slowing down until after a year it was already unbearable. I could've worked with a Lenovo laptop at high speed for work for about 2.5 years.

Personal life at the moment, I still have my Vaio laptop, although it feels like HP. It works, but it's really slow now, although it's more because the thing's about 6 years old now, if not 7.

HP is a great brand for laptops. The last two laptops I have used have been mid-range HP ones and they have never let me down. They look great, feel great and have some great features as well.

Acer has a history of poorly built laptops, but HP has problems too. HPs tend to have a chassis that doesn't last as long as it should, with heating problems and other things already mentioned. My recommendation is to look out the customer reviews for both and see which fairs better. Even though they have the same specs, they will still run quite differently and experience different problems.

Depends on the model, I would avoid Acer, HP can be good but they seem to push out a lot of faulty things, more than others (but not as much as dell), if I had to recommend a brand, it be ASUS or Lenovo.

If we talk about design, HP looks way more premium and beautiful, though it also seems more expensive than Acer. I found both to be durable so far, used them both over four years. I bet both have selections which will suit your needs specs wise, so it depends on your style and budget.

By choosing an HP laptop, the buyer pays for a higher quality of assembly and components, layout and reliability. The reliability and build quality of HP laptops is much higher, as well as their price.

Acer mostly makes budget laptops. I note that inexpensive models more often have positive reviews, rarely negative.

That's why the choice is always up to the buyer. It is necessary to focus on specific needs and choose a certain model accordingly. Maybe even a budget option will be optimal for you. Why overpay for something that does not matter to you?
