I've had a look around in this subforum, and it sounds like cloud hosting offers better performance thanks to its scalability. This power can be used for resource-intensive projects, like web applications, or to sustain bigger loads of traffic with more reliability than dedicated physical servers. Obviously, though, this costs money.
So, when do you think one should upgrade to cloud hosting from either shared or dedicated server hosting in terms of bandwidth and daily visits?
