Accounting Software?

What accounting software does everyone use? eg. Quickbooks, Gnucash etc. I personally use Gnucash but may be in the market for a paid product. Do any of these integrate with hosting billing software, like Clientexec or WHMCS?

Quickbooks and Freshbooks are two that I've used before.

We're not that big. Kashflow with no integration (the WHMCS/Kashflow integration did not work well when I last tested it). So all done manually for now, which is a lot of safer, though we will have to get it all automated at some point, of course.

Is the WHMCS records kept well enough to be used as actual accounting information? I've seen lots of companies that I really wouldn't trust the data in WHMCS, let alone use that as my accounting data.

Quickbooks with WHMCS is common choice for most hosting companies. Although we tend to use other softwares as and when needed.

We are using XERO for accounting and WHMCS for billing and support, have even used Kashoo in past, but since we moved our company from Singapore to US our CPA suggested to use XERO so we are now using Xero

We use WHMCS just for sole purpose of billing/support and just sync Bank and PayPal Feeds with Xero for bookkeeping we don't import any data from WHMCS

I personally used Quickbooks and I think it is perfect for all business types. I used QuickBooks online too but after then i switched to QuickBooks desktop and for cloud compatibility, I host the software on the cloud.

I am a QuickBooks user for many years, yes I faced some issues while using it but it was easily resolved. When it comes to accounting software I always preferred QuickBooks.
