So I'm just curious as to how does everyone here do your work by which device.
Do you use a laptop?
Do you use a desktop?
Or do you use both?
Do you find that which one is easier to work from home or at your office?

Both, I have to many screens.
For general work you don't really need a desktop, just plug the laptop into a screen, keyboard and mouse.

I am using a laptop for my works at home.

Sometimes I could use it at internet cafe with Wifi. Laptop is very flexible if you don't use a fixed position when working online.

On the go, I almost always have my laptop. (I work remotely a lot!)

In the office, multi screen desktop. (Sometime desktop & laptop at the same time!)

70% of my work is done via my desktop as the multi screen and my preferred setup allows me to work more efficiently.
The other 30% is done via my laptop on the go as I tend to travel around alot.

(also use my phone but very little, in urgent times when I dont have my laptop on me)

I always like to work on my laptop. It's a lot easier for me to work long hours if I can be more comfortable and having my laptop while sitting in a recliner or the couch fits that bill perfectly.

I do have a desktop that I use from time to time but 95%+ of my work is done on my laptop!

I use a laptop exclusively. I haven't used a desktop in years. The laptop is good because sometimes I'll be in bed, or on the couch, or at the table, or on the floor with my dog.. gotta have that flexibility

I bought an HP laptop at walmart and it sucks. But I wouldn't go back to using a desktop.

Have only used a laptop for about 12 years now. When at work it is connected to a 27" screen though for lots more screen real estate.

To be honest, I have a laptop and a desktop, but I've more like abandoned the desktop computer since I got my laptop. My laptop makes me more mobile, I can do my work on the go, anytime and anywhere. I've also got backup on my laptop so I know it can't trip off anyhow. My desktop is connected to a power socket and my brother used to pull out the plug anytime to frustrate me.

I prefer working on my laptop.

Even though desktop is more powerful more realiable than a laptop, I use a laptop for my work. laptop is portable. I can take my laptop where ever I want and work contimuously. Furthermore, if I have to use a desktop I need a power back up in case power is interrupted and my work vanishes. When on laptop, I don't have to worry about his.

I do all of my business by laptop these days. I am always on the run, so I have to be mobile, so the laptop just makes sense for this. I also have a sort of "mancave" for music and movies at my place, so it is convenient to grab my laptop and go work in the basement where I have entertainment.

I mostly work on my laptop, for the sole convenience of portability and usage. I find it relevant to use my laptop wherever and whenever I can. Also laptops are easier to use in conditions of constant travelling for business or leisure purposes.

I also get work emails on my laptop, and so I have safeguard softwares that protect me from hackers.

Sometimes I use my cellphone. It's for most immediate personal use only. But it still serves its purpose. But it is also difficult to type on it using a.virtual keyboard. Here I find that a laptop is more convenient. As my work is mostly written and blog related I rely on my laptop for finishing my projects.
