These days traffic from all mobile devices is important and it just affects to responsive websites but I am seeing more websites from hosting companies using non responsive design. So for a better user experience should all hosting company's make responsive websites or there are any alternatives for a better user experience?

What do you guys thinks?

Hi !
The only alternative to responsive design, is a dedicated website for mobile. Exemple a mobile come to forumweb.hosting and it is redirected to m.forumweb.hosting, the mobile version of the website. But it means you have to create 2 websites ...

But yes any website shoud have a responsive design or a dedicated mobile website, and Google will rank better website with mobile friendly interface. After not all webmasters are real developers and many of them doesn't know anything about responsive, SEO or basic rules to build a website.

I think that as long as a website has either a responsive site design or a mobile version of their website then they should be fine. Of course I would prefer that my own sites were responsive designs and always try to make sure that each of them are responsive.

I think yes, pretty soon google will start their mobile first index, that means you're gonna get beaten on search engine results by another hosting companies that are pretty similar in rankings to you before but have a responsive website. :D

I have seen many blog post and topics on forums around the web with many people that think that Google is going to be doing this in the near future. I noticed that I started seeing these posts and things after the whole Google "Mobile Friendly" thing got started.

After that then the stories started showing up a lot. It's probably going to be true since Google wants everything to be "Mobile friendly".

Yes, these days responsive design is a must. One reason for hosting company to not have responsive design is old and complex website which requires lots of work to make responsive. However in time even such websites will have to either introduce mobile website or make their website responsive.

Google required websites to have responsive design because it will serve better for their ad when viewing on mobile devices. Also, that will help users visit your site easily on their smart phones. In any cases, responsive design will keep all functions when viewing websites on mobile devices while mobile styles can lack of somethings from the original theme.

All websites should be responsive, use SSL and load as fast as possible nowadays, so the sites work well with mobile devices and keep Google happy.

Yes I think all hosting companies should use a responsive website as it makes them more professional.

I still remember the time when we had to build WAP dedicated versions of websites :p
Motorola was king, iphone didn't exist and nokia was a best seller with model 3710 connector (or something like this...)
eheheh
