Once you are done with designing your website, you must be excited to upload in online. You have added some valuable and fresh content and waiting for the visitors to review it.
In order to submit the website to Google login into Webmaster Search Console with your email. If you are new to it then you have to do Add a property and if already the site is added then just submit the updated sitemap.
Once the sitemap is submitted, Google will start crawling the website. Just keep a track that your sitemap is updated incase you are adding new webpages to the website.
The google's crawler called Googlebot, begins with a list of web page URLs submitted and augments those pages with sitemap data provided within Google Search Console. During the crawling process, the Googlebot looks for new sites, updates to existing pages, and any broken links. For the new pages added, the google will crawl sitemap and the URLs will start listing in Google.
Once the crawling process is completed all of the results will be feed into Google's index, and any new website or updated content will be listed accordingly. Based on the information on your web page such as title tags, meta description, alt tags, and more the google will display it in search results.
In order to check the indexed pages of the new website or other web pages simply type: "site:sitename.com"
Google Console and Google Analytics are two major tools to keep the track on your website. You should go ahead with changes depending on the website statistics. It really helps you in understanding the website.
