Would you buy 3 character domains? are they worth anything? I've had them for a while and can't find any real use for them, I thought that they would be good for an investment, anyone shares your thoughts?

PM me what they are I can tell you if they are worth anything buy buying them. On a serious note it depends on what they are they still are pretty expensive and hard to find but lemme know which ones they are and ill see if I wanna purchase any of them.

They are worth it depending on the type of domain, for example a .INFO domain is for information if someone needs information over something your site covers they would remember your URL much more easier. It is clear that the transition to other types of domains have been pretty slow, but we'll get there eventually. If need any more help, don't hesitate in PM me.

I wonder what the domains are? Most of the short domains like that at least go for thousands especially .com TLDs.

They may be worth something if you can find the right buyer. I've never really understood the thoughts on these types of domains, being an investment, or people buying them because they think they are worth a lot of money.

Has anyone visited many websites by a domain of 3 letters? Any examples you are willing to share?

3 character domains have huge potential if they are .com .net or other popular domain extensions.

The less known extensions such as .science etc would not be worth much however still are good as its quite memorable.
if you have a three character popular extension domain, PM me :)

Daniel

I've seen the craze about some 3 character domain names but I don't see the buzz. For the right buyer and depending on what the 3 characters are you could make big profit.

I only can find a reason it's easy to remember for users for kind of this domain. I don't see any advantages of using this domain but it got listed into premium domain and you need to spend more to achieve it.

Agreed with the post above, I've seen some three letter domains go for big bucks, around $100k a domain name. It's crazy to think someone would pay that much for a domain name but it all depends on your needs and your goals for that specific domain.

It definitely depends on what they stand for, or what they are. I know that the shorter the domain the better, so they have to be worth something! You should find an online domain broker and see what they say before selling them, though. You want to make sure you don't get less than you deserve!

Bidding is also a great way to make more money. If you auction off your domain, you're bound to get more for it.

Would you buy 3 character domains?
Yes, usually, but it would depend on the extension to decide what I would be willing to pay for them.

are they worth anything?
Some are and some are not, it depends on the extension. All .com and .net (worth less obviously) 3 character domains are worth a lot of money.

I thought that they would be good for an investment, anyone shares your thoughts?
If they are in a good extension then they can be a very good investment. If they are not then it's usually best not to pay the renewal fees. However most extensions have value in 3 character domains to the right people and sometimes it also depends on the market where they are being sold.

LLL domains, especially if they're .com domains, are highly sought after. Especially if the letters make some sort of sense together that would appeal to a buyer or form an acronym.

Truth be told, it'll be difficult to get three character domains that make much sense. Most short forms domains have been taken.I suggest you consider selling them to celebrities.Example if my name is James John Jack, and you know I'm a well known celebrity. If you approach me to sell a customised domain name.It will make all the sense in the world to sell a 3j.com or jjj.com to me. So please look well around you before you leap.

It depends on what the three words mean or what they consist of. If the words have a meaning are are really creative, there's no reason why they shouldn't be valuable

Of course it always depends what those 3 letters stand for. Nothing is worthless when it is creative and catchy.

It depends on the name of the domains. If the domain names are catchy and meaningful then definitely those will be worth for selling. It totally depend on how useful they are and how much visitors can be increased by them.
