Adobe Dreamweaver is one of the most favorite code editor for most of the web developers because it has a very easy Management System that useful for those who have no idea about coding can build the website faster. In my opinion the best feature of Dreamweaver, we can view html pages during the design process and easy to upload files using FTP because it has built in FTP feature that particular features you would not get any normal html editor.

My favorite IDE would have to be Eclipse because of how it makes everything easier. I can import all the things I need with a click of a button and create accessors with keyboard shortcut. Though, I only create web applets and programs from it. I rarely make my own web pages.

I would rather suggest you a simple notepad or notepad++, because the more coding you will do self, the more benefits you will get.

thanks

I've come to absolutely LOVE Emacs. While it feels quite strange at first it really grows on you. I use AUCTeX for editing LaTeX code, and the various programming specific modes for coding.

I also use Vim for small tasks like editing config files, and recently tried using it for writing some c programs, but I think Emacs understands” the code on a completely different level.
