In fact all the 3 are good, even though Expression Engine i never heard about :)

All depend about your Project and how do you feel with this CMS.. wordpress can be used now for any kind of websites.. Drupal is light and powerful also.. but in my opinion it's limited when it's come to complicated content..

I've used the first two and one or two more, but I always find them to be a bit more of a learning curve than Wordpress.

It's probably because I don't have the time to really learn a new CMS, so I always tend to stick to Wordpress.

Wordpress would be the most widely used solution, however I have also heard good things about Expression Engine. However, this is all dependent on personal opinion. The only true way to make an informed decision on what works best for you, would be to give each a try.

Has anyone used Rainmaker from copyblogger?

Would be interesting to hear what people make of it.

Expressionengine is faster, more powerful, and as easy to use as both drupal and wordpress.

Well if you are looking for security and reliability then Drupal CMS is the best choice. And I can say this for sure that Drupal is very secure compared to other CMS like WordPress etc. In fact security and reliability are one of the biggest selling points of drupal.

The others are pretty hard to start with if you're a beginner. If it's time of deployment and ease of use you're after, then Wordpress CMS is your best choice. Though keep your plugins updated to lessen any security flaws on your site.
