Expired domains and SEO?

Hello,
I'm going to buy expired domains that getting a decent traffic and good PR but I don't know it can get problem with SEO or not if I develop a new site with these domains?
please share your thoughts. Thanks

if expired domains have good amount of previous backlinks it can be beneficial as it will help you on your serp if you build a website over it but you need to do some research about what the site was and what niche website are linking to it.

Before buy any expired domains just weather that domain is consider as a black listed or not. Also check that domain is in sandbox. After checking all this go and buy it won't harmful also not create any problem.

That's a bit difficult to say as it depends on previous work and promotion done on expired domains, if everything done right then we are safe and can get benefit out of them. But if it has some unethical work then it can even harm the new website build on it. And no one wants to see their new business get out of the race.
