You are trying to set up your email account after signing up for a new hosting plan and just can't seem to get the settings to work.

Whether you are using MAC Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc; these are the settings you want to use:

Incoming Mail Server: mail.[INSERT YOUR DOMAIN NAME HERE]
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.[INSERT YOUR DOMAIN NAME HERE]
User Name: Enter the Full Email Address
Password: Enter the Password assigned to the Email Address
POP3 Port: 110 (or 995 if you are using SSL)
IMAP Port: 143 (or 993 if you are using SSL)
SMTP Port: 587 (or 465 if you are using SSL)
SSL (Secure Socket Layer): Off or None
Authentication: Password or Plain Text

When configuring an Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server, make sure that the subdomain "mail.domain.tld" is actually your mail server and if such record (MX) actually exists.
In some cases, your mail server is your actual server's hostname, the one you created your mailbox at or hosting a website.
