Today I have just opened a new smartphone forum, it is here https://smartphones.best/. Although it is still being developing some modules and there are some parts need to improve but it is ready for members to share their posts/comments/thoughts.
I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this new forum and hope to see some guys there  if you are interesting in smartphones

Thanks and cheers,

I don't like the homepage.
It seems busy, and very hard to navigate. Also not very organised, or clean.
However, when clicking on boards, it feels more like a forum and improves.

My only gripe is the homepage. The design is a little simple, but it works.

Are you talking about middle column where containing latest threads and replies?
I created that because I think forums or communities needs to a bit more busy and of course it has a taste of social networks there because everyone can read and reply on posts quickly.

However, when clicking on boards, it feels more like a forum and improves.
My only gripe is the homepage. The design is a little simple, but it works.
You mean they are forums and threads? if yes then I still keep everything as default settings, just added the left sidebar with list of forums there.
What do you think it will work for Forumweb if this forum changes to that layout? or should have a same design like on this forum but with new platform?

No. I wouldn't change FWH to that forum system or layout.
It may work for smartphone-based forums, but to me it's too hard to navigate and just doesn't feel like a forum. Plus it's busy.
There's no way to tell what posts are from which board on the main page. Amongst many other things. I simply don't like it.

I got your points and can not use that layout for our ForumWeb.
What do you think if we have a same Forumweb's layouts but running with XF2 platform?
Honestly, I have already same design as this forum but for Xenforo 2, that will help our forum better because XF2 has new and modern features that current forum platform didn't.

Also, hope to hear other opinions from our forum Mods @24x7serverman, @LJSHost, @VirtuBox, @RDO-servers

Site looks good and a great place for smartphone users to discuss and learn how to control their phones. You should allow users to create accounts from social networks as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or others, that will help to increase more new members for your forum.

Overall it looks good, I signed up and logged into it and I can easily find almost everything I need. You might need a better logo for your website. Good luck!

Homepage looks like Facebook and that makes the website more interesting because we all know most of the population are inclined with facebook but I also saw that your page looks like so crowded with information and hard to navigate with. Also the website logo needs to be improve because it can caught the attention of viewers.

Yes you are right, its layouts are similar to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or other social networks, I created that and think that it will be easy for users to use the forum in the first time because almost they were familiar those social network sites.

What you think should add to the logo to make it better?

Hi there! Based on my perspective, the logo looks simple enough. You should improve the font I think but it can stay the same if you disagree. It's just part of my opinion. Overall, Website is interesting to visit and good enough compared to other forums! :)

I agree but I think it will not improve more if only change the font. If want to have a professional logo with better look, I need to move it above the navigation and make it bigger.

Yes, you are right, I will setup that so users can register to the forum through social networks.
Thanks for your suggestions!

I am thinking of that, I designed that logo in Corel but seem I am not a professional designer :p thus I can need a paid logo service to have a professional and better logo for it.
