Adobe Photoshop is the only photo editing I know and used tool eversince. Because for me, it is the most powerful and best of all. So aside from Photoshop, what you guys consider as best also? Anyone can introduce for me?

Thanks in advance. ;)

GIMP, Paint.NET, and Pixlr seem to be the more popular alternatives.
I use Paint.NET, and Adobe Fireworks, and Photoshop - but I don't exactly design websites.

I think Serif Affinity Photo is one of the best alternatives to Adobe Photoshop. Although it is relatively newer to the market than some other graphic design software it is an affordable, non-subscription based substitute for Windows and MAC that provides several options for image processing and creative effects. In fact, the software has thorough raw file format editing and various colour space options. It is also compatible with typical file formats, and live previews as effects are applied. Other benefits include photo stitching, new alpha and black point selections, and excellent lens corrections. Furthemore, it has a wide range of high-end filters such as lighting, blurs, shadows and tilt. Affinity Photo is remarkable for its .psd compatibility, adept handling of layers and large tool set such as mesh warps and live previews. Through operational "personas", you can edit raw files, do non-destructive modifications with layer adjustments, generate distortion effects and much more.

There are other basic photo editing tools that I also consider as the best. I use GIMP most of the time and it's quite impressive even for a first timer. What I find beautiful about that program is that it is easy to use yet it gives you beautiful results. For those that are having a hard time with Adobe Photoshop, I greatly recommend GIMP. Once you get familiar with the layers, you're all set to go!

Hi there!

I just want to agree with the other comments. GIMP is one of the best and another alternative for Adobe Photoshop. GNU Image Manipulation Program is also available for on Mac and PC. The workspace is almost the same as the Adobe Photoshop. You can also search for some tutorials over the internet. With regards with the downloading sites, you can easily find a link when you try to search for it.

PhotoScape is also one system that I can recommend. The best thing that I want in PhotoScape is it's more easier to make slideshow and GIF's. However, when I try this one, there are some advertisement appearing recommending other software. It's quiet irritating and I don't know if it's because of the downloading site or it's usual with the program.

Hope this help.
