I love writing and posting pictures at the same time. I have blog posts on both domains, however, I discontinued for a moment, thinking I might post the same content on my blog which will confuse my readers, and which I suppose leads to lesser monetization. I'm also wondering which one should I keep, and what are their advantages and disadvantages. I would like to know your preference on the subject matter.

Both will work, no issue. Just you need to be sure that the contents on your blog are unique and you will have the keywords in it. The blog shoud be very intresting for reading and engaging the uers. It shold have the proper images ttoo in your blog.

You can go with the WordPress as it has various themes in which you can develop your blog with the number of themes. It will be your choice which thing you would like to choice.

Definitely WordPress. Self hosting is even better. Looks much better, has more flexibility.

I loved Blogger about a decade ago but now it's not really useful.

However, as others have said, both will work and are fine. But WordPress give you more flexibility.

Years ago, blogger. Now, WordPress. As said by others, it has flexibility.

Some will start off using WordPress.com, but will run into limitation in terms of designs and plugins use. Moving to a self-hosted WordPress installation will not only give you overall control, but will also allow you to customize your website to your personality and content.

Wordpress is easier to navigate. I recommed using it for your blog. Not only that trying to choose between Wordpress and Blogger is like trying to choose between Bing and Google; the comparison is unfair. Wordpress is more highly recommended by professionals for hosting. This is because of a few things Wordpress has more users and thats what you want for any business also Wordpress has a better-looking design.

Its however left up to you at the end of the day; hope you make the right choice.

Both are good. As for me wordpress is easier to use, customize. But that's for me. You may have another opinion :) But for sure i agree with serverman, that content should be uinique and should not be duplicated , as this may influence on results of serach engine.

I agree but in terms of SEO then blogger can be better because it is sponsored by Google.

I am curious what are another opinions beside blogger and wordpress?

You can try drupal, joomla or ghost. I think they are the most popular

Drupal is very big and hard to use while joomla can consider as an old platform with slow performance. I heard about ghost as a good alternative to Wordpress but not sure it is a good platform to go with.

Personally, I prefer self-hosted Wordpress over Blogger and Wordpress.com blogs.

You have much more flexibility and control, especially in terms of ad placement etc. The URLs look much more professional also and give your blog more credibility in my opinion.

Blogger is a great starting point, but once you begin getting more serious about monetization and building an audience, migrating to your own domain and hosting is the way to go!

My personal choice would be WordPress because it had so many options including 100's of free themes, 1000s of plugins to integrate into your website and professional themes you can add it to it from themeforest for example.
